The former building of the French embassy is located in Cetinje, near the Museum of money.
It was built in 1910 by the French architect Paul Goede in cooperation with the construction form of famous French architect Auguste Perret.
The building served as the French embassy up until the start of World War I. Since 1955 it houses a branch of Central National Library named after Georgi Crnojevic — the founder of Cetinje's first printing house.
