An ancient Roman mosaic was discovered at the beginning of the 20-th century on the territory of the modern town of Petrovac, about 15 km southeast of Budva.
This durable and lavish floor covering dates back to 3–4 centures AD. The site is somewhat neglected but true history lovers can nevertheless enjoy the mosaic and nearby Roman villa remains nevertheless.
